Growing up in Lethbridge, Glenn always loved sports. Unfortunately, he could not play them very well, so his mother suggested he write about them instead.

That piece of advice compelled him to head to Mount Royal College in Calgary for their Bachelor of Applied Communications degree majoring in journalism. While there, he served as sports editor and publishing editor of MRC's independent student newspaper, The Reflector, which won several awards from the Associated Collegiate Press during that time.

After graduation, Glenn spent just over a year in Fernie, B.C., as the sports and community reporter for The Free Press. But he was lured back to Alberta by the news reporter position at Saint City News, where he has been since September 2005. In January 2008, Glenn assumed the position of editor.

Outside of work hours, Glenn enjoys cooking, curling, messing around with computers, listening to music and long walks on moonlit beaches.
